Founder & CEO
James is the founder and CEO of Osmosis Films, with experience in documentary films, narrative features, theater, television, and interactive design. His work has been featured at the Sundance Film Festival, Cannes Film Festival, Berlin Film Festival, and numerous other festivals worldwide, and has premiered on Amazon, HBO, Showtime, ESPN, and other platforms. James leads the Osmosis Films team of award-winning creatives in their endeavor to make powerful, empathetic, and visually stunning work across all media and formats.
Director of Creative Strategy & Client Accounts
Deana is responsible for establishing and fostering Osmosis's partnership with organizations to develop and implement visual communication strategies. She is also an award-winning producer, having driven creative, strategy, and execution on many campaigns for Osmosis. Deana's work ranges from short documentaries to thought leadership films, product launch animations, interactive experiences, and everything in between. Deana received her MA in International Film Business from the London Film School.
Zach is an experienced filmmaker who has produced several documentary features for HBO and A&E, as well as concert films, music videos, and other digital content for Sony Music Entertainment. Zach is responsible for managing Osmosis production from the initial strategy and creative vision through to the final deliverable. He oversees the creative direction of each project from start to finish and manages our team of producers, editors, assistant editors, production coordinators, writers, sound designers, composers, and more.
Josh is a CLIO and Promax award-winning designer and animator with over 10 years of design, animation, and interactive experience. He loves being a hands-on creative and collaborating with Osmosis’ production and creative teams to realize remarkable visual experiences for our clients and their audiences. From lower-thirds to the screens of Times Square, no creative challenge is too small or too large for Josh to bring to life.
Head of Production
Liz is an Emmy award-winning producer with over 15 years of experience in production, marketing, and client services. Based in NYC, Liz oversees the production team and Osmosis’s full plate of client projects. Prior to joining Osmosis, Liz worked at Courageous Studios, CNN’s branded content studio and spent over a decade working at NBC News and MSNBC.
Director of Post-Production
Justin is an Emmy Award winning editor and animator with over 20 years of experience, which he brings to Osmosis as Director of Post-Production. Throughout his work on hundreds of broadcast spots, corporate films, live TV, instructional videos, music videos, infomercials and barrels of coffee, Justin has always been moved by the soulful art of great storytelling while, oddly, finding true left-brain satisfaction in unravelling technical puzzles as well.
Director of Client Strategy and Business Development
Alison is involved across Osmosis’s new and existing clients to develop plans that support clients’ internal and external communication goals. Her work spans from project ideation and brainstorming, to content strategy, and client support. Alison lives in New York and received her BA from Colby College and her MFA in Acting from the Actors Studio Drama School.
Director of Operations
Brooke is responsible for implementation of processes and revenue and resource forecasting at Osmosis and oversees the Resource Manager and Producers. She started her career 20+ years ago at Lorne Michaels' post production company, Broadway Video, in the Scheduling department. Since then, she has pioneered resourcing and operational roles at various agencies, such as R/GA, Huge and Arnold Worldwide. Most recently, Brooke spearheaded resourcing and revenue forecasting at TBWA/WorldHealth and TBWA/WildType.
