African Humanities Program Film

Since 2008, The Carnegie Corporation and African Humanities Program have been breaking boundaries in research and teaching in Africa. We joined forces with these organizations to reinvigorate the humanities scholarship across the continent by lending the stage to one of the program’s own scholars, Sister Dominica Dipio.

Artistic Approach

We employed a watercolor storybook approach to bring to life an audio-only interview with Sr. Dr. Dominica Dipio, recounting her personal story. Statistics and strategic information about the program are peppered into the narrative to underscore the importance of humanities scholarship in Africa.
